The Arab News recently reported the enormous alignment of the vision shared by The King Abdullah University of Science and Technologies and the larger plan of advancing a sustainable and innovative future in Saudi Arabia. They reported that the Kingdom allocated approximately $200 million fund for early investments in high-tech solutions of local and international origin. Moreover, Wayakit which is one of the biotech startups being accelerated at KAUST’s Innovation Ventures, has partnered with Saudi Ground Services Co. with the aim to provide sustainable cleaning solutions for the airline industry with hopes to improve the service quality with the use of more natural and sustainable cleaning options.
