The State of Qatar is soon launching a £1.5 billion fund to support green energy innovations in the UK. This initiative is a segment of a £4 billion investment by the Qatar Foundation in collaboration with Rolls-Royce, which aims at developing R&D facilities to bring world class talent and develop cutting-edge startups and advancements. The plans include building ultra-modern campus with laboratories, meeting centers, and modern venues. Currently, suitable sites within the strategic triangle of London, Oxford, and Cambridge are under consideration.
