Recently, The Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE), the Bank for International Settlements (BIS), the Emirates Institute of Finance (EIF), and the COP28 Presidency, has introduced the COP28 UAE TechSprint. This initiative is designed to foster innovation in sustainable finance and address climate change. The TechSprint encourages financial innovators worldwide to develop tech solutions for green and sustainable finance challenges, focusing on technologies like AI, Blockchain, and IoT.
